Lancaster Road
church is our main building where our worship area and offices are
located. It was fully refurbished in 1997/98 and is fully accessible
to disabled people.
Lancaster Road church has
2 areas which can accommodate between 150-200 people, a training room
for meetings of up to 30 people and 2 rooms for groups of 10.
The Lower Hall is a spacious open area
with a vinyl covered floor with a fully equipped kitchen. It can
accommodate between 100-150 people seated. It is a versatile area
allowing for a variety of functions.
The Worship Area is situated on the second floor and can seat
200 people. It is fully carpeted and suitable for more formal meetings
or exhibitions. It is used by our congregations and other local
churches on Sundays for acts of worship. There is a fully functional
PA and Hearing Loop system at this level.
The Community Room is about 50m2 with a vinyl tiled
floor it comfortably seats 30 people and is ideal as a training room.
The Gallery Area is an attractive open balcony area which looks
down into the Meeting Place (our main reception area). It is used
primarily for exhibitions and serving refreshments. There are 3
Ante-Rooms off it where smaller one-on-one or small groups can meet.
The nearest Tube Station is Ladbroke Grove on the Hammersmith and
City Line. Buses 7, 23, 52,70 and 295 all stop within 5 minutes
walking distance. There is no parking facility attached to the
building but a public car park is situated across the road.

Notting Hill Methodist Church has two additional properties which can be used
by other groups and organisations:
Etheline Holder Hall on Denbigh Road has two halls which can
accommodate between 20-30 people.
Kelfield Garden is essentially ½ acre of outdoor green space in
North Kensington.
Equipment for presentation is available for hire including Overhead
Projector, Projector for connecting to a Laptop computer, TV and Video
and Flip Chart.
Our charges vary according to status from Local Charities to
Commercial Hire and rated by the hour. To view our Hourly Rates
