NOTTING HILL METHODIST CHURCHConditions for Occasional and Casual Lettings of Notting Hill Methodist Church Premises1. To use and occupy the premises for the purpose authorised so that nothing shall be done to injure the reputation of the premises or offend against any statute or any of the regulations of any Local or Public Authority in any way. 2. Not to damage the premises or the fixtures and furniture therein and to indemnify the Managing Trustees against the cost of all repairs made necessary by the activities of the hirer or their invitees. 3. The hirer to leave rooms, toilets and kitchen in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the meeting or function. 4. Not to allow betting or gambling in any form or use the premises for the supply, sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages nor for the consumption or use of illegal substances or for any other purposes contrary to the Standing Orders of the Methodist Conference. 5. Not to do any act or thing in or upon the premises which will invalidate the insurance policy effected by the Managing Trustees on the building of which the premises form part. 6. To keep the Managing Trustees indemnified against all liability in respect of claims for damage or loss, which may be suffered by any person by reason of or arising directly or indirectly out of the use, or occupation of the premises ("occupation" being in relation to the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957) for the purpose hereby authorised. 7. The person(s) hiring the premises for meetings involving young people under the age of 16 years must be familiar with the Home Office Code of Practice Safe from Harm and have an understanding of it and undertake to follow the code contained therein in relation to work, sessions or meetings involving children. 8. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult, both within the building and outside. When children are present external doors must be secured at all times. 9. Smoking is not allowed inside the building. 10. Doors are to be kept closed but not locked when the building is occupied.
